In both simulated and real interview tests, GhostInterview has not been detected by mainstream coding platforms. Below are common monitoring methods and how GhostInterview stays hidden.

Detection methods and responses

  1. Screen-share monitoring Platform behavior: Requires screen sharing in Zoom, Google Meet, HackerRank, CoderPad, and similar tools.

    GhostInterview response: On supported workflows, the app is designed so the remote participant's shared view does not show the overlay. The right validation target is the receiving side of a private meeting share, not your local OS screenshots or recordings.

  2. Follow-up reasoning checks Platform behavior: Interviewers ask you to explain the reasoning behind your solution.

    GhostInterview response: Answers include both the reasoning path and the final output so you can explain the approach clearly.
